1. Who we are
JAVANRD (“we”, “us”) is a software studio registered in the United Arab Emirates as JavaNrd, at 515, Oxford Gardens, Dubai, UAE. We are the data controller for personal data submitted through this website.

2. What we collect
We collect only what you choose to send us. If you submit the contact form, we receive:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your company name, if you provide one;
- an indicative budget range, if you select one;
- the content of your message.
Our hosting provider also records standard server logs, which may include IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested. These are generated automatically for security and reliability, and we do not use them to identify individuals.
3. What we do not collect
This website sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and does not use local or session storage. Web fonts are served from our own domain rather than a third-party font service, so simply browsing this site does not report your visit to anyone else.
4. Why we use it, and our legal basis
We use contact form submissions solely to read and respond to your enquiry, and to hold the resulting correspondence. Where the UK or EU GDPR applies to you, our legal basis is legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) — responding to someone who has deliberately contacted us about our services — and, where an enquiry leads towards an engagement, steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
We do not use your data for marketing, do not sell it, and do not share it for anyone else’s marketing purposes.
5. Who processes it
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf under contract:
- Resend — delivers contact form submissions to our inbox.
- Amazon Web Services — hosts this website and stores server logs.
- Our email provider — stores the correspondence once it reaches us.
These providers operate infrastructure outside the UAE, including in the United States and the European Union, so your data may be transferred and stored internationally. Where the UK or EU GDPR applies, such transfers rely on the safeguards those providers put in place, including standard contractual clauses.
We may also disclose data where we are legally required to do so.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for up to 24 months, so we have context if you get back in touch, then deleted. Where an enquiry becomes a client relationship, the correspondence is retained for the life of that relationship and for as long as we are required to keep business records afterwards. Server logs are retained on our provider’s standard schedule, typically no more than 90 days.
7. Your rights
Under the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, and under the UK and EU GDPR where those apply to you, you have the right to:
- ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- receive it in a portable format;
- withdraw consent, where our use relies on consent.
Email naz@javanrd.comand we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the UK or EU and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your national supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
8. Security
Form submissions are sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access to the inbox that receives them is restricted and protected by multi-factor authentication. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send confidential material, credentials or sensitive personal data through the contact form.
9. Children
This website is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data relating to anyone under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
